I'm a Forensic Artist & Sculptor and I specialize in reconstructing faces from the skull and sketching composites. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice which is how I got started in the field of Forensics. For 19 years I worked in the Forensic Investigation Unit for the Sacramento Police Department in California and became the Police Department's first Forensic Artist. I later branched out as a consultant for Coroner's Offices and I am a freelance artist.
I served for 18 years as a Forensic Photographer and Medical Investigator on a Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team (DMORT-9), under the National Disaster Medical System with the Federal Government. I was part of a team of forensic specialists who deployed to disaster scenes to assist in the identification of victims of mass fatalities. I've responded to a tsunami, hurricane, wildfire, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
My expertise also includes crime scene investigation, photography, and anthropology, and in my spare time I enjoy fine art projects and writing.
